Potsalot began when my wife and I, dedicated our entire Sunday to making sure our entire plant collection of over one hundred different potted plants had fresh brand new soil. We looked at each other and she told me “this is simply what crazy plant people do, pot a lot” and I said to her in a snort “lots of pots.” So the story goes that the back and forth, continued until early Monday morning when we had finally finished our task of refreshing our entire plant collections soil but additionally with the idea to start a family focused specialty house plant business Potsalot!

Our vision since the very early morning conversations of Potsalot has been to be able to bridge the gap between the people who own the plants and the expert knowledge required to tend and heal our plant family in their desperate time of need. Too often do the ancient passed down relics of Jades or the huge intimidating cacti or the ever luscious fig trees become sick in their age, leaving even the most nimble and attentive plant care takers stumped. That’s where my wife, Alessandra, and I with our business come in to help with our experience collecting, researching, growing, and propagating plants.

Our locally owned and operated business proudly located in Watertown, Connecticut. We proudly have one of the most fierce monthly competitions for employee of the month a struggle between our top marketing coordinator, our daughter Olivia, who specializes in adding that personal touch to your order or our master watering technician, our son Malachite, who is completely devoted to making sure each plant never goes thirsty. In my own humble opinion, my vote will always go to the most dedicated and loving wife and plant care taker, Alessandra, who not only runs this entire woman owned business but also is being a super mom all day every day of the week.
